1st Brother Thomas HILL, Senr in a complaint against Brother JOSHUA FOWLER which complaint the church agree to take up and after investigating the matter agree to refer it to the next meeting. 2nd Thomas HILL, John OSBURN, John HOPKINS and Thomas HILL, Jr., chosen messengers to next association. 3rd The brother clerk appointed to prepare a letter for this church to the next association and present it at the next meeting for the inspection of the church. 4th Received by experience for baptism Charlotte ROBERTS. August the fifth Saturday 1828 1st Brother Joshua FOWLER came forward and made such statements as gave the church satisfaction. 2nd The letter prepared by the brother clerk read and received. 3rd Dismissed by letter Simeon ROBERTSON and Anny, his wife. 4th Received by experience for baptism James HAMMOND.

1st The case of Joseph JAMES taken up and he not appearing to answer to the complaint against him the church declare him no longer a member with them. 2nd Received a request from some members of the Baptist Church living on Graham's Fork and Beas Creek wishing to be constituted into a church state for members from this church to meet with them on the third Saturday in this month at the house of the widow KNOWLTON whereupon John OSBURN, John HOPKINS, T. BUSH, and Thomas HILL, Jr., were appointed to meet with them on that occasion. 3rd Dismissed by letter Betsy GADDY, Silvester ROBERTS, and Charlotte, his wife. 4th Received by letter John COBB.

At a church meeting held at Coffee Creek meeting house on the first Saturday in June 1830, after prayer enquired for the peace of the church whereupon Brother T. BUSH entered a charge against Brother Griffith GRIFFITHS for disorderly and unchristian like conduct. The church takes the charges and after investigation Bro. 1st Received a request from some members of the Baptist Church living in Vernon and its vicinity for members from this church to meet with them on the first Saturday in November next to consult on the propriety of forming a new church in the town of Vernon, whereupon Thos HILL, Jr., Thomas COBB, John OSBURN, and John HOPKINS were appointed to meet with them for that purpose. 2nd Dismissed by letter Benoni HOLINGSEAD and LUSANNA, his wife.

1st Received a request from the church at Vernon for aid in counsel to meet with them on the third Saturday in this month, whereupon Thos HILL, Senr., Z. BUSH, and JESSE JOHNSON were appointed to meet with them.

Z. BUSH, John HOPKINS, John OSBURN, and Daniel LOTT appointed to inquire into a difficulty said to exist between Sisters Isabel FEAR and LOVESY D. FEAR and to inquire into a report of their having acted disorderly and to settle the difficulty if practicable and if not, to cite them to attend the next meeting.

Met and after praise and prayer, 1st Received a request from the church at the Slaffold Lick for this church to take into consideration the propriety of ordaining Brother ZECHARIAH BUSH to the work of the ministry and after some conversation on the subject agreed to lay it over until next meeting. 2nd Received by letter Simeon ROBERTSON and Ann, his wife. Adjourned until the first Saturday in February next.

Met and after praise and prayer 1st The reference respecting the ordination of Brother Zechariah BUSH taken up and agreed to send to the church at Vernon and the church at Scaffold Lick for ministerial aid and counsel to meet with us at our next meeting to advise with us on the propriety of the measure and that Brethren Jesse JOHNSON and Balaam LETT bear a request to Vernon and Brethren Thomas COBB and Henry COBB bear a request to Scaffold Lick. Adjourned to meet the first Saturday in March next.

Met and after praise and prayer 1st The reference from the last meeting taken up and the helps called for from sister churches appeared (to wit) from Vernon William T. STOTT, A. Vawter and Alexander LEWIS; from Scaffold Lick V. CHASTEEN, N. BOBBINS, and Robert CHASTEEN and after some examination agreed by both church and counsel that Brother Zechariah BUSH be set apart to the work of the ministry whereupon William T. STOTT and Thomas HILL, senr. At the request of the church proceeded to set him apart by prayer and the laying on of hands. Adjourned to meet the first Saturday in April next. H. B. April the first Saturday 1832: Met and after praise and prayer 1st received a request from the church at Freedom for members from this church to meet with them on the fourth Saturday in this month to advise with them on the propriety of ordaining Brother CHESLEY WOODWARD to the work of the ministry whereupon Thomas HILL senr. Nathan ROBERTSON, John OSBURN, and Henry COBB were appointed to meet with them for that purpose.
