"Mrs. Leah Hall

Mrs. Leah Hall, widow of David Hall, died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon in her eighty-ninth year, of infirmities of advanced age. For twenty-seven years Mrs. Hall resided at 222 East Boundary avenue. Mrs. Hall is survived by one sister, Mrs. Alice Dellinger, Yorkana, and five grandchildren. She was a member of Christ Evangelical church. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, with services at the Memorial Funeral home of Henry Sleeger and Sons, 822-30 East Market street. Rev. J.W. Krecker, pastor of Christ Evangelical church, will officiate. Interment will be made in Mt. Rose cemetery."
On 29 May 1936 at York Co., Pennsylvania. She was buried on 1 June 1936 at Mt. Rose Cemetery, Springgarden Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania.

Samuel Darone, who resided at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Zech, 302 East College avenue, died early yesterday morning at the State hospital at Harrisburg, following a brief illness of a complication of diseases. He was aged 83 years, 5 months and 15 days. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Rebecca Darone, of 302 East College avenue, and the following children: Mrs. Philip Gotwalt, Mary Darone, Mrs. Norman Christine, Mrs. Clarence Zech and Charles Deardorff, all of this city: a step son, Edward Weller, Altoona, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Leah Hall, Mrs. Caroline Poff, and Mrs. Harry Dellinger, all of Mt. Pisgah, Amanda Wikis, Maytown and Edward Darone, this city. Funeral services will be held at the late home Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. A.D. Gramle will officiate. Interment will be made in Mt. Rose Cemetery." On 26 March 1926 at York Co., Pennsylvania. He was buried on 27 March 1926 at Mt. Rose Cemetery, Springgarden Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania.

She was a daughter of the late John and Liza (Ferree) Darone and is survived by the following: Two sons, Edward Roth, Millerstown, R.D. 1; George Roth, Dallastown, R.D. 1; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Dellinger, Hallam, R.D. 1; Mrs. Harry Kinard, Wrightsville: 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 from the Etzweiler Funeral home, Wrightsville with concluding services in the Fairmount Evangelical church of which Mrs. Roth was a member. Rev. Lewis C. Kline pastor will officiate. Interment will be in the Highmount cemetery."
