  • Thomas Kimball died on 2 May 1676 at Rowley, Massachusetts; killed in an attack by Indians. His wife and children were taken captive but were redeemed after 41 days.3
  • Also known as Thomas Kemball.4
  • He went to Ipswich, Massachusetts, and was living in Hampton, New Hampshire (then governed by Massachusetts) on 20 Oct 1653, and was the owner of mill property on the Oyster River. He made his home at that place as late as 1660. Afterwards he moved to Rowley, Massachusetts to that portion which is included in the present town of Bradford. At the time it was called Merrimack.2
